NEW YORK: Mark Sanchez, who has used plastic headbands to hold his mane of hair, plans to upgrade to a tiara for good luck.
“We’re 2 and 2, and we’ve got a big game tonight against the Falcons. I’m breaking out my bejeweled treasure. I look fantastic in it,” said Mark Sanchez.
The Tiara was made in China and is covered in plastic faux diamonds. Amazon sells it for $5.99, mainly to seven-year-old girls, who are also avid buyers of plastic headbands.
Rex Ryan, the Jets head coach, believes luck has something to do with the Jets improved performance. “Yeah, we got lucky. Sanchez got injured during pre-season. It’s the best thing to happen to our offense in years.”
